Do you love storytelling? In this moment of grief about Palestinian genocide and our Jewish spiritual legacy, how do we cary our tradition forward? Join us to reimagine and retell our peacemaking traditions. During this hands-on retreat we will explore the performative aspects of our Sephardi, Mizrahi, and Ashkenazi oral traditions. Master storyteller and author of the recent book Replanting Seeds of Revolutionary Nonviolence: the Shomeret Shalom tradition, Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb will be our lead teacher, anchoring the retreat with her decades of storytelling experience. Our time will be infused with ceremony, dance, good vegetarian food, music, and of course lots of stories!
